3 weeks down…
I have now been in BA for three weeks and I now feel like I have my bearings and ability to get around the city. The city is great in itself and our area is amazing. I spent the past few weeks exploring, walking around the city and job hunting.
I have had one interview and have another one tomorrow. The first one went great and I even chose to do the whole interview in Spanish. I have a second interview with that company hopefully in the next week and have an interview with a different company tomorrow. After my month long break from working, I am ready to start working again and get my life started.
Other interesting things that have happened in the past few weeks…We went to a great parilla (steak place) called Don Julio’s last weekend and it was amazing. MEAT is what Argentina is famous for and Don Julio’s did not let us down. They had amazing Chorizo (sausage) and steak as well as delicious wine.
Yesterday we ventured to the American sports bar to watch the Georgia game…even though the reception of the game was blurry the entire group of UGA study abroad kids was in the bar and it was nice to be around some football fans!!
