Day 1 on the beach in Rio. You could LITERALLY go to the beach with nothing because within 5 minutes, people have walked by with everything you could ever want. Our purchases on the beach the first day included: 1. Two beach chairs and an umbrella (rented for the day) 2. 6 beers, two waters and a cooler provided for the day 3. One towel bag…that’s right a towel that doubles as a beach bag. I am seriosuly regretting this purchase but the guy just sold it so well. The main problem with the bag that we realized later…What do you do with the stuff that is in the towel bag when you are using the towel…. 4. Two sarongs, one black and one brown for BK to wear throughout the week. 5. One pair of sunglasses All for about $40 Reais which is around $25 US dollars. Major points for Rio and Copacabana.
