A Fat
So in Argentina, girlfriends and boyfriends call their significant other gorda/gordo or gordi. That literally means “fatty” and it’s considered an endearing term. But this guy i work with who doesnt know english very well always says to me, “Hey, fat” or “Don’t be such a fat.” I didn’t have the heart to tell him he was saying it wrong at first and now it’s gone on for over a week, so it’s completely passed the appropriate time to correct him. Looks like I am just going to have to continue to deal with being called “a fat” on a daily basis.
