True confession Tuesday
When I was younger, I got confused when people said the phrase “prima donna.” I thought people were saying “Pre-Madonna,” as in “before the singer Madonna.”
It made sense in my head though, because prima donnas are strong, opinionated, diva-like women who think too highly of themselves, and Madonna is…well…Madonna.
i still thought it was “pre-madonna” until about 2 minutes ago.
Ummmm….so did I. WOW.
